Takeaways for Lawn Care Associate Safety Gear.pdf

CASE STUDY

Context: A local lawn care business was in the process of hiring and onboarding new employees many of whom are new to the industry and are new to providing lawn care through a company.

Challenges: The company was new to hiring employees and was hiring a lot of first time lawn care employees. The company was having small, on-the-job injuries resulting from associates not taking proper safety precautions and wearing required safety gear.

Solutions: This one-pager was created to remind associates that there is required safety gear to be used while on a job site but also to quickly remind the associates of other big ideas from the training.

Results: Associates provided positive feedback to the clarification of expectations. The company has also seen a decline in the number of small, on-the-job injuries.
